Andrew Toy

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew is the Chief Executive Officer at Clover Health. As a technology-first Medicare company, Clover focuses on making great healthcare affordable to all of America’s seniors, whether they are on Medicare Advantage or Original Medicare. Clover does this through its technology platform, Clover Assistant, which it provides to Primary Care physicians. Clover Assistant helps PCPs identify and manage chronic disease earlier through a combination of clinical rules, machine learning and data sharing. Andrew is a recognized leader in Healthcare innovation, and has testified before the Congress Ways and Means subcommittee on Healthcare as an industry expert. Prior to Clover, Andrew was at Google working on the Google Cloud team and was responsible for Developer Platform and Intelligence features. Previously, he led Android for Work – the enterprise platform for Android, which he joined via the acquisition of his previous startup Divide, where he was a founder. Andrew holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he has also served as an associate lecturer.

Kumar Dharmarajan

Associate Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Kumar Dharmarajan is a cardiologist, geriatrician and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Clover Health, where he leads its clinical programs and R&D initiatives for its most medically complex members. He also serves as Chief Clinician and Governing Body Chair of the Clover Health Partners Direct Contracting Entity. Prior to joining Clover, Dr. Dharmarajan developed quality measures used by Medicare in its national value-based purchasing programs. He also led research studies to help hospitals and health systems lower preventable hospitalizations. His work has appeared in top medical journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Health Affairs. He earned his A.B. at Harvard and M.D. and MBA at Columbia. He continues to practice geriatrics in Clover’s Complex Care Programs and cardiology at Yale New Haven Hospital as an adjunct faculty member at Yale. He is a member of the Standing Cardiovascular Committee of the National Quality Forum and the Payor Communications Task Force of the FDA Center for Devices & Radiological Health, which oversees regulatory frameworks for AI- and ML-based software used as a medical device.

Rachel Fish

Chief People Officer

Rachel is the Chief People Officer at Clover Health where she oversees all strategic development and management of people operations and corporate administrative functions. Her organization includes the HR, Talent, Facilities, Learning and Organizational Development, Culture Inclusion & Diversity and Executive Support teams. A long time devotee to Clover's growth and mission, she started as Chief of Staff to the CEO and evolved over the years into her current role. Prior to Clover, Rachel held multiple executive-level roles at Mesirow Financial, including Senior Vice President of National Operations, where she worked cross-functionally with senior leadership to operationalize the firm's long-term strategic plan. Rachel earned her B.S. in Finance and Economics from Albany State University.

Vivek Garipalli

Co-Founder and Executive Chairperson

Vivek Garipalli is the co-founder, Executive Chairperson, and former Chief Executive Officer of Clover Health. Prior to founding Clover, Vivek founded CarePoint Health in 2008, a fully integrated healthcare system in New Jersey. Through his role at CarePoint – whose mission is to serve uninsured and underinsured patient populations – Vivek experienced the misalignment of providers and insurance companies first-hand, which led to the founding of Clover. Vivek also co-founded a healthcare services revenue cycle company called Ensemble Health, and was a founding investor of Flatiron Health where he helped drive the development of the business model and strategy and sat on its Board through its sale to Roche in 2018. Vivek is active in health tech, serving as a board member of Doctor Evidence and Medically Home and an investor in numerous early-stage health tech companies. The main cause he is focused on is helping with homelessness and is a financial supporter of The Bowery Mission in New York City and Newark, NJ. Vivek began his career in finance, holding roles at Credit Suisse First Boston, J.P. Morgan Partners and Blackstone Group. He earned a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Emory University.

Scott Leffler

Chief Financial Officer

Scott J. Leffler is the Chief Financial Officer of Clover Health. Prior to joining Clover, Mr. Leffler served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Sotera Health, a provider of sterilization, lab testing and advisory services for the healthcare industry, from April 2017 to July 2022. Prior to joining Sotera Health, Mr. Leffler served as Chief Financial Officer at Exal Corporation (now called Trivium Packaging) and held various finance leadership positions at PolyOne Corporation (now called Avient). Mr. Leffler holds a B.A. in economics and history from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Emory University and is both a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Treasury Professional (inactive).

Brady Priest

Divisional CEO of Home Care

Brady Priest has served as our Chief Executive Officer of Home Care since July 2022. Previously, from July 2020 to July 2022, Brady served as Chief Executive Officer of SeekMedicare, a field marketing organization and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Clover that he co-founded. Brady previously held several roles with Clover, including Advisor from September 2018 to September 2021 and General Counsel from June 2016 to September 2018. From October 2018 to June 2020, he served as the General Counsel of Research & Development for UnitedHealth Group. Brady holds a B.A. in American Civilization and German from Middlebury College, and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Jamie Reynoso

Divisional CEO of Medicare Advantage

Jamie Reynoso is the Chief Executive Officer of Medicare Advantage at Clover Health, where she is responsible for plan operations including service, network, clinical and IT. With over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry, Jamie has a strong background in health plan operations with a focus on Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Prior to joining Clover Health, she spent over 16 years at UnitedHealth Group where she held various roles including Vice President of Emerging Business. She’s also been responsible for payer strategy and operations at a large national hospital system and most recently served as CEO of a provider-sponsored health plan in Texas. Jamie lives with her husband and daughter in Texas, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, watching sports, and spending time outside.

Wendy Richey

Chief Compliance Officer

Wendy Richey is Chief Compliance Officer at Clover Health where she maintains a beneficial working relationship with CMS staff to create alignment between regulatory requirements and Clover’s financial and operational goals. With over 40 years’ experience in the Medicare industry, Wendy has a sound understanding of the challenges, opportunities and best practices influencing the successful conduct of both start-up and mature plans. Prior to Clover, Wendy held executive roles at ComplexCare Solutions, Windsor Health Plan, and HealthSpring. In her past roles, she developed successful regional and national plans within a well-managed, cost-efficient model, while sustaining viability and competitiveness, and transitioned plans through acquisitions, both from a buyer and seller position. Wendy lives in Nashville where she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and five grandchildren.

Aric Sharp

Divisional CEO of Value Based Care

Aric Sharp has served as our CEO of Value-Based Care since May 2022. Prior to joining Clover, Mr. Sharp served as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at INTEGRIS Health, a health system, from November 2020 to April 2022, and ACO Chief Executive Officer at Wilmington Health, a health care provider, from May 2019 to September 2020. Prior to Wilmington Health, Mr. Sharp held several positions at UnityPoint Health, a health system, including Managing Director, Enterprise and Government Ventures, from May 2018 to February 2019, and Vice President, Accountable Care, from January 2013 to May 2018. He also previously served in executive roles, including COO and CEO, with several physician-owned medical groups. Mr. Sharp is Chair-Elect of the American Medical Group Association. Mr. Sharp holds a B.B.A from Iowa State University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Iowa College of Public Health, where he also serves as a member of the Adjunct Faculty.

Mark Spektor

Chief Medical Officer

Mark Spektor, DO, MBA is a Board Certified physician in Emergency Medicine, and the Chief Medical Officer of Clover Health. Prior to this appointment he was the President and CEO of Bayonne Medical Center as well as Chief Clinical Integration Officer of CarePoint Health. Before being named CEO he served as SVP for Medical Affairs and Chief of the Emergency Department at Bayonne Medical Center. In addition, he has held various teaching positions and served as the Associate Residency Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY-Downstate and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at SUNY – Downstate in Brooklyn. Dr. Spektor has received awards for academic achievement from UMDNJ-SOM and served on the Curriculum Committee at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals in addition to several chapters in internationally recognized textbooks. He is a frequent Grand Rounds Presenter and Lecturer. He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives, American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine. He received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

Conrad Wai

Chief Technology Officer

Conrad Wai is the Chief Technology Officer at Clover Health where he is responsible for driving development and growth of Clover’s flagship technology platform, Clover Assistant. Prior to joining Clover, Conrad served as Senior Vice President of Product for Hinge Health, where he oversaw numerous functions including product management, design, data analytics, and growth. Conrad previously held product leadership positions at Yahoo! Inc. and Google, and earlier in his career worked in venture capital, consulting, and engineering. He attained B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University.
